There are pillar candles, round ball candles, tea light candles, floating flower shaped candles and angel shaped candles, candles that are really tall and candles that are really small – votive candles. There are birthday candles and candles for just about every celebration and occasion there is. But sometimes you need to put the candles on something or in something to hold the candles and that’s where the candle accessories come in.

There are so many different decorative candle holders available today. There is the Antigua collection which is made of small squares of hand cut mother of pearl and when illuminated from the inside, throws a soft glow on everything in the room. There are votive and pillar candle holders made of different colored pieces of glass which make a great rainbow of color when a candle is lit inside, it casts the rainbow around the wall and the room.

Some candle holders are meant to have the candle show through the candle holder and not just the top. These candle holders are made mostly of ceramic or terra cottas which have delicate cutouts of designs and flowers which the flames show through and light up a beautiful pattern on the wall and around the room from a small group of wholes cut in the holder itself.
There are candle holders which hold more than one candle at a time and there are multi-level candle holders which twist and turn and hold several tea light candles or votive candles and make a nice centerpiece for any table. One candle holder for votive candles is a room divider which is functional and pretty. This room divider makes it look as if you have a wall of candles because the backing is made of fabric while another room divider is made of rustic looking vines and looks as if the candles are almost ‘floating’ in air.
Other candle accessories include decorative ‘necklaces’ with charms and beads that hang around the larger, pillar style candles. There are also ‘skirts’ made of fabric that one can hang around a large pillar candle that burns only on the inside so the fabric looks pretty and will not burn while the candle is burning. However the delicate ‘necklace’ style decorations – which they have for any holiday and any occasion, helps to make your candle not look so plain. There are charms for Christmas, Easter, Halloween, graduations, babies, bride and grooms and tiny houses for open houses or new houses. They make great gifts.
